“10. O, you who believe! Shall I guide you to a trade that will save you from a painful torment) (11. That you believe in Allah and His Messenger, and that you strive hard and fight in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know!) (12. (If you do so) He will forgive you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and pleasant dwellings in `Adn (Eternal) Paradise; that is indeed the great success.) (13. And also (He will give you) another (blessing) which you love, help from Allah and a near victory. And give glad tidings to the believers” (As-shaff: 10-13) As Shaff 10-13.mp3
Ibn Katsir mentioned in his tafsir that there was a hadith from ‘Abdullah bin Salam that companions wanted to ask Rasulullah (Prophet of Allah) about best actions with Allah the Exalted and Most Honored, so they could practice them. Allah the Exalted sent down this Surah, including this Ayah
This exclamation is begun by declaration about iman

And that you strive hard and fight in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives
This is the main principal that is mentioned in this surah repeatedly. This expression want to build their spirit for fulfill their task that build Allah’s manhaj and keep it always exist in the earth.
ö/ä3Ï9ºs ×öyz ö/ä3©9 bÎ) ÷LäêZä. tbqçHs>÷ès? That will be better for you, if you know
Knowledge leads people to that good. Then Allah describes about that good in next ayah because the descriptions after global statement can attract the heart to it and make it sturdily in the heart
ööÏÿøót ö/ä3s9 ö/ä3t/qçRè tbqçHs>÷ès? (If you do so) He will forgive you your sins
It is enough. People that his sins are forgiven certainly, does he still wish another? Or, is there people feels stingy for gets that forgiven? Actually, mercy from Allah is unlimited

And admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and pleasant dwellings in `Adn (Eternal) Paradise
Actually, It is a much unlimited profit if a mukmin (people who believes Allah and Rasulullah, etc) strives hard and fights in the cause of Allah in his life that is very short. Hence, when he leaves his life in the world, Allah will give him a life in the Garden forever directly.

An indeed the great success when a mukmin exchanges his life in the world with life in the Gardens. Is there any success beside it?

13. And also (He will give you) another (blessing) which you love, help from Allah and a near victory. And give glad tidings to the believers
Beside that success, Allah also gives other blessing that can’t be given another, except Allah. It is help from Allah and near victory. Help from Allah only given by Allah if we strive hard and fight in the cause of Allah with our wealth and our lives until last limit of our capability. If Allah helps us, victory will be earned certainly.
Are we canceled this trade?
